Most construction jobs need a lot of plumbing supplies, especially for the taller buildings and structures. Plumbing is an intergral part of any structure, though the difficulty with it is purchasing the material for a lesser price for each piece. What most people do is get their supplies on wholesale.

Wholesaling refers to the selling of merchandise to retailers, industrial, commercial, or institutional businesses, or other wholesalers. A wholesaler sells the items to someone else for cheap and in bulk, and that someone will sell it to someone else in smaller amounts and for a higher price.

You can get items for wholesale prices even if you're using them, instead of selling the items again. This way, you can get the items you need for a lower price than if you buy them from your plumber. Sometimes, plumbers will give you discounts if you need a lot of supplies because they get their materials from wholesalers too.

The first thing you have to do is look for wholesalers. Hardware stores often know where to look for these people, and if you ask your local plumber, they can probably point you in the right direction also. Wholesalers usually give you a discount if you buy a certain number of items for every product. This isn't a problem if you need a lot of any one kind of material, although some people don't like ending up with too many extra parts.

Wholesale parts are usually brand new, just cheaper than the usual parts you get in malls because it's further up the chain of stores. In general, the more people or stores the item has passed through, the more expensive it is because each of these entities add to the price of the item so that they can earn from selling it. Wholesalers usually get their goods from the manufacturers themselves, or from someone only a step away.
